AOW
Having a younger person take over the government of a country has many implications, both positive and negative. Overall they are more negative. If you have a younger person take over, then you have someone who is unexperienced running your government and that's a bad thing. That person will have to gain experience while in office and they will do that by making mistakes. A more experienced person, an older person probably, won't make as many mistakes and not as big of mistakes either.
On page 7 the article names a big mistake Kim Jong Un made, the new leader of North Korea, "In February it conducted a third nuclear test against the wishes of its only major ally, China." If you only have one major ally then you shouldn't do anything that could cause them to drop you as an ally. That's a bad thing because if you have to go to war with another country, you won't have anyone to help you.
Your leader will also be in office a lot longer, and if he/she doesn't do a good a good job while in control, it will be hard and take a long time to fix their mistakes. I think it's a bad idea for young people to take control over the government. They are inexsperienced, have little respect, and could really mess up a country because of their inexperience.

Article of the Week
According to this paper there are three different types of learners. But to tell you the truth I'm not really a complete type of any of them. I'm more of a combination of two of them. I'm a leraner who usually does the bare minimum but according to the paper I should also just get the bare minimum graded to pass too. But I dont. I get the grades of someone who tries their hardest to get the best grade that they can. I do the bare minimum with the amount of work but I get really good grades usually. So I'm not really sure what kind of learner I am. But I am a combination of the two.

Article of the Week
Out of all the AOW's we've done I think that the one where the guy drew on the dry erase board was by far my favorite. It actually got my attention and made sense to me. I probably even learned a little bit too and I have to admit it was really good. Some of the stuff he said surprised me and intrigued me.If there was more like that one I would be more willing to do them and actually want to.

Today is a big day for a lot of people for many different reasons. It's a big day for me because, well at 3:00 spring break starts and god knows we need a break from school! And on top of that people came out today to move my septic tank and everything so that we can get me pool put in. They should finish today but since the pool company wasn't sure they are probably going to start digging Monday. Which I guess is fine with me because I really just can't wait to have my own pool. It's going to be sweet and should be finished within a month after they start digging I think. We'll find out soon though!

Slice of Life 3-21-13
Good news! The people should finally start digging my pool next week and I mean it for real this time! They come out Friday morning for the final meet and greet and then sometime early in the week they should start digging. So since they're going to tear up my yard I figured I could start the job for them! Of course I wouldn't actually dig though, more life drive in the back yard get it kind of wet and sling mud every where. What would be wrong with that? Exactly, nothing. If they're going to tear up my yard I think I should at least have a part in it so I'm sure going to! Should be pretty fun.

Slice of Life 3-19-13
Today is the day. The day I get to work again. And go to the scrap metal yard but that's not really exciting. Maybe my mom will get my food for going and all the work I've done because gas is expensive and I had to do a lot. So I figure food would be a great reward because I love food! But back to me getting to work today... When I get home from the scrap metal yard, as long as it's nice out, I'm going to go work and make some money! So far this year I've hardly worked but that's about to change, thank god. Today should be a pretty good day other than having to be at school.

Homework
Ok so for this weeks article of the week I am going to blog about how I feel about the exams and MSL's. Obviously, well I hate them. I honestly think its stupid to make someone take a test in a class that doesn't even matter. I can understand having like 3 or 4 mandatory exams but I mean every class doesn't need to have one. Plus you can't even get exempt from the MSL's! Now how is that fair to us? I have always looked forward to not having to come to school on exam days and now for my second year of high school that wont happen anymore? I think that's stupid. If you miss too many days you should have to take the exam or if you don't have a good enough grade you should have to take it. You shouldn't have to take the test if you don't miss a certain amount of days or if you have the grades. I say we reject MSL's.
